A Night up Provo Canyon

Not to be left out, Everett wanted to go camping with Dad as well.  I obliged by taking the opportunity to take him up nearby Provo Canyon for a relatively quick night of camping at Nunn's Park right next to Bridal Veil Falls.

Due to time constraints and other obligations, this would be a "quickie".  Only about 15 minutes away, Nunn's Park and Bridal Veil Falls up Provo Canyon provided a great place for a mid-week camping trip.  The campground at Nunn's Park typically fills up fast on weekends, but in the middle of the week, we arrived to find only one or two other sites occupied.

I set up camp and then made the half mile walk from our site to Bridal Veil Falls.  Everett loves water, so once we arrived, he was eager to get his shoes off and get his feet wet.

On our way back to camp, we stopped at the park's playground so Everett could get some more energy out.  As any three year old would do, he had a blast.

Once back at our site, I started up a fire and made some dinner.

Mac'n'cheese from Mountain House was once again on the menu at Everett's request.

It was now time for some s'mores.

And with full tummies, we retired to the tent once it got dark.

The following morning was uneventful.  It was simply a quick breakfast followed by a quick clean-up to get back home and get myself ready for work.
